Dish and NFL

Well I finally had to cut back on my tv package. TWC stuck a bundle up my a$$ so I wnnt with direct. Then they decided to up their prices out of reason. I called Dish and the lady I talked was real reassuring. I ask what I'd be paying AFTER all the promotional stuff was gone. She assured me that dish did not operate that way. The b!tch lied. They are now almost as high as direct ($90 per month). I cut way back and in doing so i AM LOSING THE NFL channel. I guess I will miss the Panthers Steelers game. Oh well. F.U.C.K them. I just can't afford to watch. I am unemployed. Just can't do it. Next cut back will be to something basic. Now that I have lost NFL I can pretty much go to basic. Maybe to what I can pull out of the air. Greedy bastards.

i've never had cable and i'm happy. i liked local tv better before the digital switch, 'cause the signal is a lot more unrealiable, but it's still good enough for me.

Direct TV is the only way to fly.

close.. if you're lucky enough to have AT&T in your area, it's actually a spot better..

for majority, if you have TWC, you're pissing in the wind and shoveling a lot of money to them for a poo product.

I finally got my mother to see the light after several years with TWC. the a-holes in charge at TWC should be put down. i can't describe how much I hate it.

What package and how many tv's hooked up did you have with Dish? I sell it where I work.

Just down graded to 120 from silver 200. 200 cost 93$. Now to $70 ish. 3 tvs. 1 duar dvr. HD on the DVR and one TV. They were going to go up another $15 in 3 months for something.

How are you Mark? Hope you are well. obami sock it to you with the tan bed tax.

    • How many elite QBs do we have right now in the league? And how elite are they, really? Mahomes - I seriously doubt anyone would say otherwise. My only counterpoint is that since Tyreek left, he has not been as explosive. Only one with a ring. Allen - Yes. His first year was rough, however, and even now, he's a turnover machine which has cost his team games. Wouldn't surprise me if he regresses as talent around him goes elsewhere. Burrow - Can say he got to a Super Bowl but injuries may be a concern. All those sacks he took may be coming back to bite the Bengals. Jackson/Prescott - Can't win in the playoffs even with rosters around them, so no. So there you go. At least in my eyes, there's only maybe 3 right now. And over the past 10 years, QBs not Mahomes/Brady that have won were (noodle arm) Manning, Nick Foles and Matthew Stafford. Even Stafford I'd argue was a one-shot because the Rams absolutely went all-in with talent.
    • Without Guentzel, the team has a better chance of being able to keep Jarvy long term, Noesen for another 2-3 years, Drury and Turbo maybe. And I'm saying that because I think Jarvis will make us forget about Guentzel.
