Another big game for Johnson?

In the last meeting, Charles Johnson blew past Levi Brown for a couple of sacks.

Johnson has played well with the playing time he's gotten.

I expect another good game from him, specially with the Cards giving so much attention to Peppers.

Anybody remember the super-hold from that game? Arm wrapped around Peppers neck and chest, completely turning him. Of course it was a no call.

Will be nice to have our defensive line back healthy.

If Johnson can keep developing well, we can have a sick DE rotation like the Giants had, well, last year, between Strahan, Umenyiora, and Tuck. I hope this kid can eventually put together 10-11+ sack seasons and also be a beast against the run.

I really like this kid and do believe he has the ability to get a 10+ sack season if he is consistent and starts the majority of the year. good post.

    • Nina King continues to run circles around the rest of college basketball. She's been ahead of the curve on everything, and is the biggest reason for Duke's success post-K IMO. I think Scheyer is great at many things, but Duke went into the NIL era 100% ready whereas everyone else was playing catchup.
    • Happy they won convincingly instead of letting them hang around. Montreal is cooked, and rather than play hockey, they've decided to take some really cheap shots at guys. I get a player may feel a need to set the tone, and I understand how that works. But to 2-hand cross check someone intentionally in the face, to have a guy down on the ice and put his head into the ice with a stick, to just start punching anyone who gets within arm's reach- that's not setting the tone. That is nothing short of playing dirty.  That said, the Canes.... oh boy. They could have run this score to 6-0 with half a power play. It's embarrassing how bad the PP is. If the Canes go to the Cup finals against a team who scores at least 1 goal per game on the PP, they'll lose the close games because of the lack of results on the PP.
    • Because he knows they are winning the cup. And I fully support his decision.
