It's good for them to get the win, but Niemi still didn't have a very good game imo.

I think we could be looking at a 7 game series. Gonna be tough for Chicago to steal game 6 from the Flyers. They are a tough bunch and they never give up, but they need to get better goaltending. Not all of it was on the goalies, but you have to get big saves in the playoffs to win.

hope Chicago wins game 6 and ends this...wouldn't want any conflicts between hockey and the World Cup!!!!

Not going to happen. What part did you not understand when I said before all this started that it was going to a game 7? Chicago had to win that game and they did.....not a shocker. Flyers have to win game 6 and they will. Game 7 will be decided in OT......not going to predict a winner though.

I'm gonna go oout on a limb and say the Hawks win it in Philly.

Why?

Because no one expects them to, and I think the carnage postgame in Philly could be epic, so that makes for fun times.

Love the fact that Pronger was -5, the lowest he has EVER been in ANY game in his career. Ever.

He is not a boogey man, just another guy, and they proved it.

I'll say Hawks win Wednesday 4-3 in regulation, no analysis, no reason, just gut feeling.

That might be indigestion that you are feeling in your gut Epi because you are both wrong. We are going to a Game 7 DAMNIT!!!!

Pronger having such a bad game will only make for a more intense game from all the Flyers in Game 6. That was a once in a lifetime game for him.....not sure what that was all about. Couldn't believe it when Blyfuglien was able to check him into the boards like he did......Pronger usually wouldn't set himself up for that type of thing. As long as Leighton shows up to play (I presume he will be the goalie) Flyers will prevail.

Chicago scores early....twice....Philly packs it in and by the time the smoke clears, 6-2 Chicago and half of Philly gets burned to the ground by rioters and half of Chicago gets burned to the ground by celebrators!

and in the end, Toronto will still sucks balls and fall one more notch up the ladder of longest losing streaks!

win/win/win

Not even close......and even if the Flyers do lose, Philly will not burn the city down or riot. No one expected them to get in the playoffs let alone this far sp people I think are just enjoying th ride. Now if they win the cup.....who knows.......

Now in Chicago....there aren't enough people who care about the Blackhawks to start a riot. If they do riot, I bet half of them have no idea what they are rioting for and just decided to join in because they saw it while driving by.

When I said "carnage postgame", I didn't mean rioting and widespread bedlam in either city.

I meant carnage in the Wachovia Center. Fans, players, everything. Things getting chippy all over that place. Good times.

Eh, I dunno. Could be game 7. I just think when SOOOOOO many people are saying either Chicago in 7 or Philly in 7, it makes me think that the opposite is true.

We'll see. I'm stickin' with a 6 game series.

    • Regardless of how we got here, any rational fan should be excited by how well Bryce played down the stretch. Anyone not happy about that level of play either doesn't know what they're looking at, or they're still trying to drive tired narratives. Obviously, Cam had an all-time rookie season, and I'm not putting the two in the same basket yet, but as someone who has watched every snap of Panthers football since the start of the new millennium (Im old), Bryce was playing at a higher level at the end of 2024 than Cam was at the end of 2012 (his 2nd season). Cam continued to develop into MVP form, something Bryce has to prove, but as someone who watched both (and will stan for Cam always), Bryce was playing at a higher level to end year 2 than Cam did.  Go watch the film if you dont believe me. None of that means anything for the future. But the people who said BY9 couldnt play in this league are wrong.   That being said, the only thing that matters is this year. #20 is perfectly fair IMO going into the season. I mean think about it, how would you rank him??!  His in-season turnaround is one of the wildest things I've ever seen... how do you rank a guy who looked like a massive bust in September and by January was consistently playing at a top 10 level? My excitement level is pretty damn high heading into this season. There were throws from the Chiefs game onward where Bryce had Drew Brees levels of anticipation. Im excited to see what he can do with a full deck on offense, something we really never gave Cam. Really hope and expect Bryce to move up this list this season.
    • Not really, the only QB's (other than Anthony Richardson) ranked below him are new to their teams as a placeholder starter or drafted in 2024 or 2025, not a lot of gymnastics to get there. It's not about how many that is, if it's 20, 12, or 2... It means there isn't a QB who's team has committed to them for the long term right now that they have ranked below Bryce. That's not a great thing.
    • The changes to onside kicks were ridiculous and ruined a significant part of the game     It was already a high risk low reward play.  Why change it?
