"Objective" Position Battle Panthers vs Saint

I started this with the Falcons and I will do the rest of our Division Rivals and then most of our opponets this year. Now it's time too see how we match up with the Champs.

QB= Saints= Top 3 QB vs 2 young unknowns not even close right now. Breeus wins this match up himself.

RB =Panthers= 2 of the best RB in the league on the same team nuff said.

Side note what if the Saints would have taken DWill instead of Bush 2nd overall? Scary!!!!

FB=Saints= (no Hooooooove) means no FB on this roster has Gametime exp. the saints don't have that problem.

TE = saints = Shockey vs. 3 guys who combine and form "Voltron and avg. Te". Seriously Rosario or Barndage need too step up so we win 1 of these TE matchups.

WR = Saints= We have the best WR in the division they have the best WR group.

Oline =PUSH= Both teams have very good young oline with 2 probowlers and young talent on their way too the probowl. I like Evans but Warton still doesn't get half the credit he deserves.

Dline = Saints = too many unknowns on the Panthers not many on the Saints.

LB = Panthers = Vilma needs too call Beason and say sorry for the misstake made by voters who put him over Beason. Try to do it before Brees and Bush gets punish for this injustice. Plus we have TDavis who is better then anybody they have so nuff said.

CB = Panthers = Porter and Greer are not better then Gamble and Marshall again 8th ranked def. 7th vs the pass against 20th somthing.

Safety = Saints = We are young but they have DSharper nuff said.

Special Team =Panthers = It better be us again we have spent all FA money in this spot.

again JMO.

I have a problem with your use of "unknown". if its truly unknown, then how can you declare one better than the other? thats just like Jamie Duke--because he doesn't know who Matt Moore is the Panthers are screwed. im not trying to be cynical, but once again, until I see these guys play, I can't judge one way or the other

Its not just you, but I have a problem with "nuff said". If what you've said is enough, don't say anymore. No need to announce it to everyone.

Overall though, I agree with your comparison on the whole. I'm tempted to say our O-Line is better than theirs, but I don't know if that's just my Panthers bias showing through or not.

    • Still working on consuming all of these so I don't have summaries available, but I figured there might be another Huddler or three trying to kill time before tonight's final preseason game.   Panthers Blueprint: Training Camp The in-house produced Blueprint series has given behind-the-scenes look on the field and off. Start the day with Robert Hunt's family, be in the morning meetings, mic'd up players during practice (Jaycee, Rozeboom, Icky, and Bryce), roster evaluations by the staff, and plenty of camp highlights capping off with FanFest.   Processing Blue (Mike Kaye & Alex Zietlow Mike and Alex are back talking about a variety of topics including but not limited to: joint practice + preseason game vs. Houston, Trey Hendrickson trade rumors involving Carolina, training camp awards, draft pick draft, and various thoughts about the team.   Jordan & Jake 706: Opening Day Another in-house Panthers' production, the most recent episode of Jordan and Jake talk about how to properly balance intensity in practice, react to the starters being shutdown for the preseason finale, share their thoughts on the newest Panther QB, and more.   Raw Room - Ep 278 - Gas Pedal (ft. Mike Davis) Assistant special teams' coach Darren Bates' Raw Room podcast has former Panthers' RB Mike Davis on his weekly podcast. I'm about halfway through this one and it's been a lot of fun. The Raw Room guys (DB, his friend Alex Sweets, former Eagles/Chargers OT King Dunlap, and former Atlanta DB Jalen Collins) are hilarious and Mike fits right in. They talk about his football experience coming up, decommitting from Florida and how he decided on South Carolina, and more. Warning: If you're the type of person that is easily distracted by accents, despite XL being on the team, you might have issues with understanding the Memphis dialect. If you don't care about how somebody talks, just what they're talking about, tune in!
    • Allen was borderline unplayable in College.  He's an absolute unicorn in terms of his career panning out the way it has.
    • It's a step up in competition as well. The gap in athletic skill is narrowed from what was faced at the college level.
