TO or Vincente J now a possibility???

Isn't there like two other threads on this already?

As for your question: No. Nobody is coming into camp. Not TO, not Vincent Jackson, not anybody. Smitty will be back for the regular season and bringing in a veteran would just mean reducing the time the young WRs get in camp and makes our sqeeze at WR that much tighter.

Acttually you would want a vertran to help some of the young guys out. Its hard to just learn your self and since there young a vertran would only help them develop faster so you would want him there for camp. After would be pointless and i put VJ out there just because. I know that would be to far of a reach but would TO really be out of the question now??? He easily could have 500-800 yards 4-6 TD year and help out with the young guys and block...

Steve Smith has a broken arm, its not like he's forever gone from the team. He can still talk to the young WRs and mentor them. We also have a WR coach. What you've described is his job. And if we wanted an aging WR to get 500-800 yards with a few TDs and to block, Moose would have never retired.

    • Any idea what happened to him at LSU? im reading that he was considered a 1st round pick in 2023, had an off 2024 season with only 4 sacks but was also on a horrible FSU team then went to LSU where he was supposed to be on an aggressive defense that should have given him a lot of sacks but he only ended up with one….   was he injured? Did the top SEC competition expose him? What happened? Cause this guy was considered a top prospect .
    • Sometimes its fun to read the threads/posts.  The panthers could literally hire a groundskeeper and we'd have a thread "improving the field for no other reason to prop up Bryce Young".  Apparently no move is ever done to actually make the team better.  All a conspiracy to just focus on Bryce Young. Or suddenly daydreaming and reminiscing about Sam Darnold when he was hated more than Bryce Young.  Its really fun to do a message board search about Darnold during that time period.   Or thinking there is just a tree that grows QB, and you can just easily go up and pluck one.
    • Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
