Vick's co-defendent shot @ Vick's Bday party

Vick leaves, drive by shooting occurs against an individual that turned on him over legal issues.

Nope. Gotta be coincidence.

It's not crazy to think that Vick is involved somehow, but people are making him out to be a gang leader or something.

This might have been said already but it seems stupid for the person who helped put you in jail to be at your birthday party. I'm sure he knew Vicks party was there and i'm sure Vick didn't invite him. So whatever happened to him I feel no pitty. I don't even think Vick should have gone to jail for killing dogs. We go to war and kill people for fake reasons, But Mike Vick goes to jail? Crazy

It's called a fuging felony.

They could have also gotten him for tax evasion, and illegal gambling (which they did a little bit) but they didn't.

hmm... something smells vishy... definitely gonna blow up in a couple weeks. someone close to vick probably paid someone to take that guy out. which doesn't technically mean vick had anything to do with it, but he could've known about it... just sayin.

I don't think Vick paid anyone or anything like that to shoot this guy. But the reports I've read said he had an altercation with Mike inside the club. The altercation was probably of the "You f*cking snitch you've got a lot of balls showing up at my birthday party" variety. Vick, knowing his parole terms don't allow him to be anywhere near this guy, may have actually shown decent judgement and left the club. What will be interesting to watch unfold is who the shooter is and what his relationship is to Vick. If Vick is even a marginal acquaintence of the shooter, the cops or feds may not care, but Roger Goodell sure as poo will.

A shooting took place outside the nightclub at which Michael Vick celebrated his birthday Friday morning.

Vick doesn't appear to have been involved in or present for the shooting, so this shouldn't be a big deal for him. The shooting victim suffered non-life threatening injuries after the incident, which occurred at 2AM Friday. The shooter was described as a "black man in a white Cadillac Escalade."

That a way to narrow it down AP.

I bet he had brown eyes!

It's called a dog and with all the evil things we do to mankind every single day, Complaining about one person killing his own animals is stupid

" My Opinion "

Ah, the ol' "Hey officer I know I was going 100 in a 35 and I'm a little drunk and this girl in my passenger seat whose name I don't recall is passed out on roofies, but there's a brutal civil war going on in Sri Lanka where stuff like this happens ALL THE TIME!" defense.

WTF?:out:

You serious?

Reguardless, explain to me how it's any of your damn business what I do with my own dogs on my own property? If people care so much about the stupid dogs why do thousands get put to sleep every year because no one adopted them. Who boo hoo's for them? But if I kill my own dog, that i paid for with my own money, on my own land, that i paid for with my own money, Now people care? :icon_bs:

    • I used to think Juan was a Zod alt. Agree he's a great poster.
    • Hawks said nah we good and sent him to the shadow realm aka the Wizards. Cold blooded. I mean they're 2-2 in a series with a young up and coming Knicks team largely through 34 year old CJ McCollum. Even if they ultimately lose the series at least they are there and have something to build on. I think Hornets fans are just beaten down and lack the objectivity to assess the situation. They think we are going to get so much worse if and when we finally change gears. Worse how? We've already been a lottery team for years now. We've already been looking to win our first playoff series in about a quarter century. We already can't get past the play in and in failing to do so we have completely embarrassed ourselves twice looking like we don't even belong. Honestly there is absolutely no excuse for a team like the Magic to be more competitive and successful than us in the playoffs. Absolutely disgusting. But that's just me. I was fuging lit when we got the Hornets back in Charlotte but that is old old news. It's time for these boys to get into a playoff series. Enough is enough. If they can't do it for 2026-27 then they need to make wholesale changes regardless.
    • Not one single pick that is asking me why we drafted a guy in the first place. It was a guy we needed and/or a guy that had certain traits making them stand out. Best of all, I feel everyone we drafted are capable of stepping onto the field this year and have a meaningful role (even Kuwatch on special teams). Obviously, nothing is guaranteed but I'm not seeing any huge flags on guys because they're risky projects or massive overreaches.
