DT Josh Price-Brent?

The supplemental draft is next week and I was wondering if anyone thinks we could take a chance on this guy? He is listed at 6'2" and 315 lbs, he had 7 tackles for a loss, 3 sacks, and 3 forced fumbles in 12 starts for Illinois. Obviously bc he is in the supplemental draft he comes with some baggage but if he lasts until the 5th or 6th round he may be worth it. I heard some guys saying he had at least a 3rd round grade on him before he got into trouble.

Thoughts? I seriously doubt we do this by the way, just thought I'd throw it out there for discussion.

I don't remember hurney using the supplemental draft much. We're not likely to make any signings until cuts start late this month and into august. Keep an eye out for guys who are on the bubble elsewhere, especially guys who may be in the wrong system.

Oh definitely...I could see us making a few trades before the season starts much like we did last year with Leonard and Tyler. I'm not as worried about the DT spot as most people but I would love to get some depth.

We kept 5 DE's last year so I wonder if we'll do the same this year. Norwood is going to be kept as a LB but he'll also have his hand in the dirt some so maybe we'll keep 5 DT's this time. I seriously doubt Hilee Taylor is going to add that much. We'd probably be better off with 5 interior guys this time.
