CP3 Trade? It's possible

If it happens its

Wallace

DJ

Dampier

with a future 1st rounder and 2nd rounder thrown in

for

CP3

Oak Tree

Then Diaw would go with someone else to somewhere else for a starting center or SF or something along those lines.

Starting lineup next season

CP3

Jackson

Brown

TT

Oak Tree

or something along those lines....

man, hurts to say, but if we can resign paul when we trade for him, id be willing to give wallace up, i love his game, but without a consistant shot his abilities wont hold as he ages very well.... and cp3 is too good to pass up on.....

okay so former Nola's former GM Bower said he'd never trade CP3

noticed i said FORMER

maybe thatll be a factor?

also Dallas offered Dampier, first round pick, and Beubois (sp) for CP3 and that was considered the "kitchen sink"

i think after looking at these two things:

1) theres gonna be a new GM in Nola who might want to move CP3

2) our "kitchen sink" is better than Dallas'

Bleacher report said we would have to give up Wallace to get back CP3. How would you all feel about that? It would hurt but would be worth it.

Retarded...that's how the Bobcats should feel if they did.

No it would not be "worth it."

According to Bonnell, via the league, Dampier cannot be packaged with another player and traded for at least 60 days...

True, but the deal can be done before hand and then you simply wait out the 60 day period. Kind of like how the three dunces "signed" with Miami before they actually signed.

    • Kalkbrenner and Sion James received regular contracts and not two ways, so the Hornets have some work to do to cut the roster size down.
    • Gustavsson would be insane. I think we would have to break the bank to afford that move. Which, I don't think is necessarily a bad idea. Ultimately, Freddie isn't likely to be around more than a couple of seasons more. We can all agree that unless they have a fleet of sports psychologists working on Kochetkov, he will never be capable of getting his head on straight enough to compete.
    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
