I'm a bit a foodie to the point that I'm actually going to culinary school this fall to see if I want to make a career out of it.

I've watched this guy a lot for years, ever since I got a youtube account.

He's just really good, his channel has millions of views and tens of thousands of subscribers so it's not just me.

One of the biggest reasons I'm making a video about it is that I hate Food Network and their stupid cheesy hosts. They just read you a recipe, cut corners and take lazy shortcuts. They don't actually teach you how to cook like Julia Child or pretty much ANY show on PBS would.

Would you rather have a guy who knows how to cook/teach or one of the biggest douchebags of all time who hosts gameshows????

I hate Paula Dean. A walking stereotype. She has more corny southern mannerisms in one of those fake acrylic nails than the entire town of Mayberry.

"Hey Yawwwwwwwwl I'm Paula Dean. How Yawwwwwlllll doing?"

Southern people have a drawl. Paula Dean sounds like she's having a fuging stroke. Which is certainly possible considering how she cooks.

Another played up stereotype. The southern diet is rich and it's refreshing to see shows that aren't scared of a little fat. So instead of just keeping it real she wraps Mac & Cheese in bacon and deep fries it.

There is nothing wrong with this guy, except exactly what you hate about the others and that is the others provide ENTERTAINMENT with the recipes. The most successful FN personalities are the ones with THE best personalities.

You may like a cut and dry cooking show with more of a classroom feel to it, but the ratings show that it's not so much the recipes people are waching for as it is the people cooking the food.

This guy is an instructor by trade and looks/sounds the part.
