Richard Marshall Covering Fitzgerald

No you were seeing poo, because nobody was covering Fitz. You guys who were laughing at me all week were definitely right, Fitz is no Steve Smith. THANK GOD!!!

Sorry, I was always polite here and still try to be for the most part, but I caught entirely too much grief for sticking up for Fitz so I am definitely entitled to a few "I told you so"s.

Enjoy this while you can.....you deserve to feel like a winner every 20 years or so.......If a panther loss can make people in Arizona happy...then by GOD!! it was all worth it!! VIVA LA FITZ!

Marshall is horrible and has been all year. He has Dante Wesley level cover skills.

Like most players here.....they regress as they stay. Marshall had above average cover skill in his first two years.........Turgo's coaching is like this: "NO! what are you doing you let them catch the ball.....what is this..bumping and knocking the receivers off balance...that just ain't right Marshall.....get back 10 yards than just let them run by you.......our zone will confuse everyone...HI-FIVE"

No, you're not. The Eagles will rape the Cardinals.

To the Cardinals guy: The fact that Fitzgerald had a good night and Smitty didn't is irrelavent in the argument as to who is better. Your quarterback didn't turn the ball over 6 times, and your defense wasn't letting Smith run untouched through the secondary. Smith is still the better receiver.

To the Panthers guys: Do any of you watch football? It was a zone defense (a pretty terrible one, at that). And Marshall has done very well for us every year. If anyone was the weak point in the secondary it was Lucas. Let's give you guys your wish and just fire/cut everyone in the organization who has a bad game or makes a mistake. That's a good way to become the Lions.

Wait, you're talking about RICHARD Marshall, right? He's been .. uh .. I guess UNEVEN would be the polite word for it .. pretty much the entire season.

    • there is one common denominator in the 2003 & 2015 Carolina Panthers teams they both had ELITE top tier Qb play.  it would require a MVP type of season from Bryce Young to have the same type of success that Jake Delhomme had in  2003 & or Cam Newton in 2015 & lead this team to a SuperBowl is this going to happen or is there any reason to believe Bryce Young is capable of playing similar to Jake Delhomme in 2003 or Cam Newton in 2015 ? well no there is no absolutely NO reason whatsoever to believe that this is going to happen in 2026 ..just saying
    • I'd actually like to see Cherelus get a fair shot to win the job in camp. Wallace is decent in drop zone coverage, but he gets abused in the play action game and is often times out of position in the run game. It might just be me, but I swear every time I watch Wallace play, I see multiple plays a game were it looks like he's just trying to be blocked. Watching Cherelus last year he at least looked like he was trying to hit someone on every play. Wallace plays like a LB who doesn't trust what he sees and it makes him passive and cautious versus Cherelus who regardless of if his decision is right or wrong goes at it 100%.
    • Agreed.  Hasn’t happened to me either, but I feel very strongly about it.  That’s not just one of the worst things a woman could do to a man, it’s a power inherent to only women and is one of the worst things a HUMAN being can do to another.  A man can’t “hide” a pregnancy or maternity.  It’s impossible.  And that sucks for anyone that has to go through that. I always got a weird vibe off her and just found her very unlikeable.  Annoying even.  I’ve always been good at reading people and there was just something about her to me that was off-putting, somewhere under the surface.  And here we are…  she is despicable.
