I have come to a different place about this. At times it has really bugged me, HOWEVER , I don't know the full story. Maybe the person walking looks fine. But there could be other things going on OR, the driver is fine and no issues, but the people they drive for have all the issues and we don't see the behind the scenes.

Now, I have seen someone sneak in just to go in some place quickly, totally dif and they need to feel a flying burrito to the mouth.

My dad has a handi tag because he has a fake hip. He looks totally normal on the outside but he does have limitations. I wouldn't go as far to say he needs the tag NOW because he's getting around just as normal as ever but at one point he needed it, so it could be a situation like that.

My feeling...if I see you walking the entire grocery store or Walmart/Target without the need of a wheelchair, then you really didn't need the handispot.

Someone parking in a handicapped spot coming up....

nothing irks me more than some douchebag parking in a h-spot and hop/skip/jump into the store.

Being in a wheelchair myself, it's hard enogh to find a good parking place a lot of the times. Then whe you see a car parked in a handicapped spot that says "Van Accessible", it draws my ire.

But like Pstall pointed out, you don't always know their problem. You can be handicapped and not in a wheelchair.

Still there are times, when you see a 20-30 something walk out of the store and hop in their car parked in a HC spot.

Makes me want to ............

I was just saying the other day that we need "mentally-handicapped" tags for a lot of the drivers out there.

One of my pet peeves is people who can't park within a parking spot, or don't care to. Especially when they're directly over the line and taking up two spots. It just screams vanity and disregard for everyone around them.

Those are the ones you park reaaaaally close to the driver's side so they get the hint. That's if you drive a POS commute car like I do.
