I myself am a huge Stephen Jackson fan and had an interesting debate between whos the better overall player?Who do you guys think is better?Take into account Stephen Jackson said the Cats were always one of the hardest playing teams in the league and were always one player away from making the playoffs. He became that man......

I'd rather have G-Force. He has an all star appearance to his name now, and he's younger than S Jax. Also, Gerald has been with the franchise since day one, so he's been the face of the team for the past couple of years now.

Jackson is not so much a "star" as he is a great veteran presence and the role player to complement Wallace.

Force is an All Star Jack is not. I think that solves the debate.

Also Who is the one who had 25pts and 17rebs in their first ever playoff game.

Oh and don't let me forget 1st team all NBA defense.

Don't get me wrong I love Jack and what he has done to help this team but Gerald is the face of this Franchise.

The better player overall is Wallace. He's evolved into quite a player over the years; defensive wise, and offensive wise. My favorite out of the 2 is Jackson. Jax takes a lot of shots, and can score a lot of points. I guess I'm just a sucka for a scorer

Gerald Wallace is the FAR superior player. Stephen Jackson is probably league average for starting SG in the league due to his poor shooting percentage. He's a solid starter for sure and his hustle and heart are highly valuable, but in terms of tangible production he's not all that different than Richardson if he took more shots. Higher PPG usually equals more shots, but in Jackson's case the amount of shots it takes him to get to 20 PPG is a lot higher than most starting SG around the league.

Wallace's rebounding and defense alone put him right there with Jackson. His ability to score and shoot a high percentage (mostly by slashing his way to the basket) puts him over the top. Plus, Wallace is one of those rare guys who can do everything you need on the court. He steals, blocks shots, rebounds, creates offense, etc. He's the PERFECT mix for his position and one of the very best in the league. Plus, I have never seen a ball player leave everything on the court as much as Crash. Iverson is right up there too.

Stephen Jackson an average shooting guard? PAALLEEAASSEE.

G-Force is the better over all player, though Jax is underrated IMO. We all know G-Force has a very efficient offensive game and is an excellent defender. Jax, while certainly not an efficient player on the offensive end, is capable of being the #1 scorer for a playoff team, something G-Force cannot be. Jax is also a very underrated defender.

G-Force is the better player, but Jax means more to the Bobs. If G-Force is out, the Bobs get sufficient production from Derrick Brown (very similar players, Brown is just a watered-down version of G-Force), whereas, when Jax is out, the Bobs don't have someone else to run the offense through.

[Kobe stan logic]Gerald Wallace cant be better than Jax because Jax has a ring. Until Gerald gets one, he has no business being compared to Jax. [/Kobe stan logic]

On a serious note, I think you could go either way with this one as far as better player. But as far as biggest impact, no question its Stephen Jackson by a country mile. Until he suited up for the Bobcats we were not a playoff team, and G-Force wasnt an all star. In the 5 years he was here prior to Jax, G-Force never led this team to a playoff birth or was considered all star caliber by his peers. I consider Gerald our face and a fan fave, but Jax has had a bigger impact on this franchise as far as winning goes.

I really don't know though how much credit we can give Jackson and how much credit we can give Brown for the impact in the standings. I think Jackson is around the 15th-20th best starter in the league at his position, which makes him a league average starter if not slightly below in my opinion. I respect his game for sure, but such a big turn around in the standings and Brown's reputation for second year success may have had more to do with it than anything else.

As far as Gerald is concerned, I think Brown's influence helped him the most. He challenged him to be a complete ball player and Wallace proved him wrong by not only being average at both ends, but being elite in both ends. When his total game is taken into account, I think Wallace is Top 5 for his position in the NBA and that puts him on a whole different level than Jackson for me.

And I don't want people to think that I am hating on Jackson, because he was big for this team.... but he had some nights where his shooting was so bad that he put us out of games almost by himself with his shot selection. He also had nights where he kept us in games and won us games, but the inconsistency is what was the most troubling. He shot well below average in terms of percentage last season for players of his position.

I think you could take Jackson off this team, replace him with another starting quality guard and still be a playoff team. Without Wallace, I don't think we can get there. His development has been remarkable to watch from season to season and I am not totally sure he has even peaked. Larry Brown's influence on him has been really positive.

captain jack > crash.

jack can play one more position. it gets close when cap gets lazy on D. g-force only has rebounds and blocks in overall stat cats. the other twenty is jack. up until this yr g-forces' 3 atts didnt touch the rim backboard, not even is the same zip code. cap can create his own shot, while g has improved its still a work in progress. cap can run O as a PG, image g trying to run the show, even bring the ball up.

money time, last seconds of game. advance jack.

o and the most important- tattoos. cap by fifteen

    • It wasn’t completely his fault, but outside of two throws and one or two scrambles he didn’t do much to help. His accuracy was all over the place, numerous passes that were placed poorly and didn’t give the receiver a good chance to catch the ball or do anything with it after. He also continues to display terrible pocket awareness. Even the sacks could have been avoided, they weren’t immediate like the pressure we got on Shough at times. Bryce just often has no feel for pressure and stands there waiting to get sacked after numerous seconds have passed.
    • I really fuging hate this era in so many ways.  I look at those Adin Ross and Neon kids, and I just wonder why tf are they famous?  Why would anyone be desperate enough to gain THAT audience that they’d risk money, career, disciplinary action to go up there and associate with those fuging dweebs?  And back in my day, racist peers got their ass beat.  And not endorsing or approving bully culture, but checks and balances and all…  had those two been bullied, or at the very least humbled, they wouldn’t be famous and glorified for being the fuging idiots they are now.  It seriously pisses me off… they both have done and said multiple, openly racist stuff and major media keeps pushing them, talking about them, and propping them up… and then dummies like Puka who don’t need the platform or exposure lend their celebrity to them.  fuging idiot… and even the other streamers, I don’t get - Speed, Kai…  I don’t understand making nobodies famous at all, but there is at least entertainment value to some degree there, and I could see how young, impressionable kids would find them something to aspire to (sadly), or view as “cool.”  But Ross and Neon?  They’re just shitty, shitty nerds with big ass mouths. I’ve went back recently and watched some classics (in two very different eras and categories 😂)  like Robocop and Idiocracy.  And what I find fascinating is how both movies illustrate how stupid society became by showing what the citizenry is entertained by.  In both, society became anti-intellectual and the citizenry were entertained by lowest denominator, primal-type absurdity - poo like, “Ouch! My Balls!”  Or on Robocop, a guy is a watching a show where they are smashing cakes on ladies’ breasts and then a guy says a line as the camera zooms in like, “I’d buy that for a dollar!” and the audience thinks it’s hilarious.  That’s where I feel like we are now.  Like who watches that clip with Puka and thinks any of that poo is funny or cool?  If I was Puka, I’d honestly be wondering why tf I’m hanging out with these beta ass, racist, cretin ass weirdos.
    • 7 wins this year and some of those against really good teams and yall think Canales might get fired? Lol Good luck getting a better coach in here if that happens.
