I was at Fanfest, 15 Years in a Row now.and I can saw I left feeling completely concerned for our season...we'll see. Maybe an ass whopping will get the energy and effort level up, which seem to be non-existent except on 2nd string defense. Think Matt's feeling pressure now unlike before, and he will have to adjust not to let it bother him. His passes yesterday did not have enough velocity and a couple of side arms which shoulda been picked. So I thinking we loose big time to Baltimore...and then we see what happens next.

Carolina will not get blow out, they may even win it, and they may not due to the fact there are serveral positions with new names but they'll suprise alot of people. Regarless if they win or lose the only reason for the preseason is to really give the second and third stringers some in game experience, and see what kind of depth we have. Our backup against they're backups for the most part. They'll do fine.

All I'm looking for in the Baltimore game, or any other preseason game, for that matter, is which individual players can step up and make plays. Other than that, I just hope the starters look good for a series or two.

As for preseason: It want us to win them all, but will be happy if the first team goes out and puts in a great showing, further proving that they deserve to be first team.

Go check out the info on yesterday's Black and Gold Scrimmage for the Saints as posted by the Associated Press (today's paper on page 9C). They siad that the defense had 6 sack, broke up numerous passes, recovered a fumble, and completely dominated Brees and the offense. Guess their offense is doomed this upcoming season.
