Mark Fields Keeps Pounding

Best thread title ever.

I actually take offense to that! Sam Mills devoted his final years to the Keep Pounding Foundation to foster the idea that Cancer can be beaten. Mark, notwithstanding, took part in this noble effort. I was one of the fans who frankly wondered why MF just seemed to disappear from the headlines. He too had suffered from testicular Cancer, and I do not make light of it, and DO NOT assume you do Beaux...it is just sad, really sad! Here is a guy who went out with fans wearing wrist bands with his and Sam's number on them, had players wearing his number with Sams on their uniforms, AND had his number right beside Sam's at the first auction I participated with to honor Sam Mills/Mark Fields for their fight FOR life.

To come to this end is tragic and mis-pronounces a deep felt Foundational effort by the Panthers and thousands of caring fans like me who donate and contribute every year for a battle 1 in 4 men will fight!

Forgive the grandstand, but I do not want the "title" read wrong!

PS...have any of you donated to the Keep Pounding Foundation? You should.

My stepdad died of the same kind of cancer that Mills had a few months before Mills did. I remember it was the worst time of my life and giving money to the Keep Pounding charity. I felt such a connection to Sam and Mark at the time.

Later I heard that Mark Fields had gotten a DUI out in Arizona. I really felt sorry for him thinking the cancer and losing his career was the reasoning for it. I hope his cancer comes back in his a**hole.

I get that...luckily, you and I have not walked in those shoes, but having had the "scare" twice, I think it should have made Mark a stronger man than this! I respect your pain...my dad too.
