collecting talented RBs, no one does it better. skipper must have influence. i thought have the panthers have the best RBs, as a group. goodsen and sutton could be #2, looking through my panthers shades. im starting to think, this maybe the best group in nfl history :eek:

yes for me.

in the little ive seen, vaughn deserves a PS check. i love to see how he feels today, dealing with pain is #1 my RB handbook.

I'd say yes, as he looked decent last night. With the amount of running plays we call, I think we have to maintain a healthy pipeline of ball carriers.

Would it be to much to carry 4 RBs and possibly 2 FBs on the 53 man roster to start the regular season, with Vaughn on the PS for good measure? Ideally we could instead stash Jackson on the 5 man ps, but I doubt he would clear waivers.

(and Fiametta's strong performance was also nice to see; more plays called for the FB spot might help keep double trouble fresh later in the season)

I don't think we'd keep Vaughan over Goodson if we were to keep four backs.

Personally, even though I like Jackson, I feel we should keep four backs and then Fiammetta. Sutton has shown he can fill in at fullback occasionally (as has Dante Rosario).

Only his second year in the league, I believe this makes him eligible, no?

I have been touting this guy here, since we met his family and watched him at Woffard...it was very subjective not objective...but he looked good. Then we watched him last night, and I agree with you - he's certainly PS material, and might get some back up possibilities. He wants on this team, and told me so!

All that said, he got us some good first downs and played some ST's too I think...gotta re-watch the game tonight!

VOTE VAUGHN!

    • Been here since middle school right when it started around 2003 after the charlotte.com one. Living outside of Carolina it was tough to find good Panthers content, news or analysis. And no one to talk to about it. This place gave me a lot though I don’t often post. In the later days, I particularly Loved PhillyB’s write ups. They were fire. Too bad I go let it go. I appreciate the hell out of @MHS831 @TheSpecialJuan @Jackie Lee and others who have been posting great content and keeping this place worth coming back to. Particularly during the offseason. Appreciate y’all!
    • Nice explanation, but I was just messing with you. Thought that would be obvious. I dont have the energy to keep on trolling. Last season I compared our situation with Bryce as a potential Alex Smith, but what we should be looking for is our version of Mahomes. Some people will read that as one sentence, to me that single sentence is equivalent to a half A4 explanationf of the teams pathway forward.
    • I dont know how much of his salary would come across and how much a trade would cost but I feel Kmet would be the sort of TE Canales and Morgan would like
