Does Madden really suck or Do you just suck at Madden???

Serious question... People tend to dislike/hate things they don't understand or aren't good at.

How good are you at playing Madden?

What level do you usually play on?

Do you adjust the sliders?

What are the serious issues with the game?

If you want to play a video game Madden is fun.

If you want to play a simulation well... there aren't any.

I wouldn't say I'm the best, but I'm pretty good at it.

I wouldn't say it sucks either, it's just not that good. NCAA is way better.

I hover around 740 on the Madden IQ when playing the computer on All-Madden... where do you all fall?

I used to be pretty good at it.. a friend of mine used to own me all the time and is by far the best player I've gone against.. went down to FL for about 3 weeks and owned him the entire trip.. This year I've stepped it up in a big way, IMO..

Defensively, I'm pretty good.. Offensively, if you're just a "solid player"... I will torch your defense..

As for the game itself.. It is a game, but it's by far my favorite... There are some things I wish they'd fix, but overall.. I don't complain too much..

I'd say above average but Smitty really helps me out.

All-Pro because whenever I try and play on All-Madden the AI starts to cheat. How unrealistic is this?

What are the serious issues with the game?

Well for starters they need to fix some of the player/ref collision animations. The challenge system in the game is garbage and decides what it wants to. DBs drop everything unless your really precise with the user catch. There are more but every game has problems.

DBs play defense cause they can't catch.. (and most likely, can't run routes) It is annoying that the defense drops so many passes, but instead of thinking the AI cheats, think of it as you have to tighten up on your mistakes..

As football players say all the time, the less mistakes you have, the better chance of winning..

Football is the ultimate chess game.. You have to predict what the computer (or player) is going to call..

also, have to know which plays will be best if they do pass and you are expecting run, and vice versa...

less mistakes, the more plays you win..
