I caught over 100 punts in camp, that's not an excuse anymore

Seems Armanti is manning up and taking responsibility where his fan boys won't.

Now THAT is the right attitude to have AE. Get it fixed and get back out there. You have two more games to prove you can get it right.

Edwards is going to take time, but I firmly believe he will be a very, very good player before his career is over.

I still say they should just let him focus on playing WR and let guys like Munnerlynn and Witherspoon battle it out for punt returns. I just don't see how they can possibly trust AE to return punts in a real game this year.

If they let him focus on receiver he won't see the field for 2 or 3 years. They want him to see the field.

It shouldn't take that long. Besides, he could get on the field right away as a wildcat QB. You know, something he has actually done before.

Either way, I believe they're wasting time trying to make him a punt returner. There is a reason why there are so few good ones around.

    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
    • I mean there is relevance to that. But I think much of it has to do with the fact that he is clearly likeable. But does that translate to a coach taking his position to the next level like those that have had staying power for many years like Spoelstra? And not for nothing but does how much someone is liked even matter? Across leagues with the Panthers Ron Rivera and Marty Hurney were universally well liked by players. Dave Canales is very well liked. I say you are what your record says. And the record says you got your ass handed to you by a fellow expansion team in the Magic in a game that was over at halftime and that same team went toe to toe with our nemesis who has been handing us L's for over a year now. And if Bam doesn't get his leg swept by LaMelo do we even get past the Heat? Again. It just all boils down to personal standards. I think newer and younger fans will love this. I just want to actually win a real playoff game fam 🤷‍♂️
