Our Offense Can't Score Pts.!!

Why are you angry about the offense?

1) They did not even try to run the ball really, which would've made the game completely different.

2) They were shuffling WR's in and out.

3) They had a lot of 3 WR sets, and poor O-line play, which lead to bad QB play.

4) Missing Smitty, Otah and Stewart.

1) This is true, Dwill was barely in and we had Jstew out. Goodson was the only one other than DWill to get any yds. But ur right, our running game always makes the difference.

2) yeah, whatsup with that? cant we keep a couple ppl in? there was moore and jarrett, wright and lafell, mix and match we can't catch the ball anyways

3)yeah.

4) yeah like i said , i know we had key players out, but cmon man!

I understand you are frustrated, but there are legitimate reasons (for once) as to why the offense has been so lackluster.

ST is what you should really be irritated about. :o

dont even get me started on ST. believe me im upset about that too.

oh well, going to go lay out with my friend and try and forget about this game for a little while

I'm surprised you haven't developed selective memory from being a fan of this team already.

I'm going to go lay out in my bikini. Toodeloo.

I was surprised with Goodson's return last night on ST. I understand he is trying but it was like OMG just go down not backwards! I was glad to see only Moore and Clausen, I hope they just use them in the next two preseason games. Both looked like they need the on field time.

I hope we can make it through the season with just two QBs, because that's all we gots.

She never said she was in a bikini. I'm betting it's one of those full body suits we saw in the last Olympics. Can't be too careful about skin cancer these days, you know.

I was just referencing the "Dockery is a chick" thing from the other thread.

    • From Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/nutshellsportz.bsky.social/post/3mo3rkrcezs2e  A look at Run Threat Rate across the NFL Run Threat Rate is the percentage of plays where a team either runs the ball or uses play action. This compares each team’s rate when leading or tied versus when trailing to show how much they abandon the run when playing from behind.
    • That's the current dilemma on both parties at the moment. If Ickey comes back too soon, he won't be 100% and his play will suffer. Leading to a potential decrease in his contract. If Ickey is unable to play and sits the entire 2026 season, his contract will still take the same hit since it tells all 32 team that he is not fully recovered. On the Panthers side, I'm sure they would want to keep Ickey if he is fully recovered but he is obviously in a contract year. They don't want to re-sign him to a massive deal since it be too risky and they know if Ickey is able to return to form.  Best case scenario, the Panthers wants to offer Ickey a 1-2 year heavily incentive based prove it deal. However, Ickey would most likely decline the offer and test the market as  another team can come in and offer Ickey a better deal if they are desperate enough for O-line help.
    • They have been giving him a lot of snaps at RT to give TMo some relief in camp. I think that will continue for the time being.
