He had his knee scoped. They stated that he should be back for the season opener.

I thought I heard it was scar tissue they had to cleanup. If it was, then its no biggie and he should be good to go very shortly.

Otah had his knee scoped just recently. I suspect they aren't taking any risks and making sure he is the healthiest possible before week 1. I assume there is a little swelling and that would explain the ice he has worn on his knee and such.

Glad he will be ready for week 1, I just hope that the lack of practice and reps doesn't hurt our efficiency to run and pass block.

what exactly does "scope" mean? Did they take a drill and drilled a hole in his knee then took a fiber-optic wire and shoved it in there to see if everything was ok? Or did they actually cut it open and take pieces of his knee out.

Man, that sounds really gross just trying to figure out what "scope" actually means. I'd kill myself if I were a doctor.
