I finally have credit scores!

I have been trying to buy a home. But because I didn't owe anything, I couldn't get a home loan. So, 2 months ago I got a prepaid Master Card, which I have charged a little, then get right on-line and pay it off! A month ago, I got an unsecured Visa card! (Which I did the same thing, charged a pizza and when the charge hit, paid it off on-line!)

So I called Churchill Mortgage (Thanks Khyber53!) and my bank. I now have credit scores! (683, 753 & 813! (Not sure I understand that.)) Now I can get my loan and buy my new crib!

You're 683 is more then likely because they only have posted the mastercard and not the visa being paid.

Quite frankly, those are amazing scores to have without having any credit 2 months ago. In mortgage lending, the interest rate is (partly) based on your middle credit score (753) in your case which is "A Paper" in the industry. You will be eligible for the very best rates. That being said and those scores being held, I would check with multiple places. Good luck and good job on those scores.

I had that in my last place. (Complete with Camo Drapes!) Not real conducive to bring the ladies back to. The Marine Corp flag always freaked them out as well! This place will be a little more lady friendly. But, I already bought a 65" DLP 3D 1080P TV to go in the front room! (Are you ready for some football!?) So I can still keep my Man card!

I enjoyed not having Visa of Master Card BS in my mail every other day. Yesterday I got a 0% introductory rate for 6 months Discover card ap in the mail!
