What's that? A positive article on the panthers?

off subject, but i'm not starting another thread.

Anyone believe we have an inter conference rivalry? ala pats and colts

perhaps... more so with the patriots though because of that super bowl. i'm still pissed, even though it was really kasay's fault. i'll blame it on Brady's arm for getting the ball down field.

I'd say the Cowgirls are more of our intraconference rivals.. especially with the amount of Cowboys fans in NC.

That's inter-division...they are in our conference.

Inter-conference rival could be the Jags...came into the league same year we did. Also, Pats...cause of the Superbowl.

Lets be real. They didn't pick us because we scored no offensive TDS. None, nada, Zip.

Can't win if you don't score points. As soon as we do and if the defense continues, we will suddenly be considered a surprise team.

Can we please stop acting like this is the reason they aren't picking us?

They didn't pick us before the season started..

They wouldn't have picked had we went on a scoring rampage in the preseason..

The Cowboys had a terrible offense this preseason, and they're still the media's "suprise" favorites..

It's the media, man..

    • One of the Carolina Panthers' newest defenders thinks their pass rush can go from worst to first. ESPN's David Newton recently chatted with outside linebacker Pat Jones II, who signed with the Panthers as a free agent earlier this offseason. Jones comes over from an awfully impressive Minnesota Vikings defense—one that ranked first in takeaways (33), fourth in sacks (49) and second in QB pressure rate (44.4 percent) this past season. And despite a historically-bad campaign by Carolina's defense in 2024, the 26-year-old seems to believe his new unit can be similar—or even better—than his last. "I definitely think we could do something similar, if not better," Jones said, via Newton. "I've seen it before, so I know what it looks like. I look around the building and see we have exactly what it takes to do that." https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/24/panthers-pat-jones-vikings-espn/83840667007/?taid=683219b347846900018fa10a&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter     It's the offseason.  Let hope spring eternal. (actually, I think we are much closer than this board thinks)
    • 5 total TDs against the Falcons was pretty good efficiency and he showed that ability to go off scripts and get 2 of those TDs rushing.  How many times did he deliver big time throws against pressure.  I agree we need to see this offense operate at high efficiency which starts with Bryce. When he does I hope the goals posts won’t shift to some other stat like QB sneaks lol
