We have talent on this team. We just dont have the people to put it all together.

Fact: Matt Moore is not the answer we were looking for.

Fact: Playcalling is not Jeff Davidsons strong suit.

Fact: Jimmy Clauson did not have much more success. Better judgment but not better success and its cause of the calls.

Fact: We have loads of talent on D but yet give up 20+ points a game.

Fact: Jarrett should be deactivated for Edwards..... Point blank.

Almost none of those things were facts.

Moore hasn't looked good, he has no decision making ability and doesn't seem to actually be able to read the defense.

Clausen didn't look much better but at least he made some good decisions for the situation.

Next year will probably see dramatic change for this team.

I thought Jimmy looked considerably better.

He throws a better ball for the most part and he made good decisions for the situation, but he wasn't exactly getting pressured like Moore was and the defense was playing quite a bit softer.

Overall I'd say he looked better than Moore but not by much at this point.

      No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad

      I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.

      Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible.
