That's easy. Smith. Who cares if everyone already has it? They have it for a reason. You want consistency? There it is. Plus they will fear you for thinking you are a brawler!

But there is nothing wrong with supporting Clausen on his first real start. That would be great if he saw a stadium full of # 2's on his first day. He's deffinitley the type that likes attention. I don't think that would put the wrong type of pressure on him at all.

Im also extremely upset with the Panthers as a whole, well no, maybe the NFL. So, don't give the NFL any money. Maybe that's the best answer. Why give them money when they are going to SCREW us with a lockout next year. In the end, its the fans that suffer. Just messed up.

First of all Fox is gone already and no matter how the season goes, he will find a job. General consensus around the league is that Richardson gutted this team for the CBA and no one expected the Panthers to win many games this year. If he goes 9-7 he should get coach of the yar. But if we go 5-11 which is much more likely, then he will still be considered a good coach.

As for Clausen, why not give him a shot, it isn't as if Moore is doing much anyway. Might help Moore to sit the bench and watch for a few games. He surely seems more comfortable coming off the bench. Plus if you bring Clausen in and he doesn't play well, you can always go back to Moore. Normally I wouldn't advocate switching things back and forth but this isn't exactly a routine normal year and neither of them have really established much.

At this point we are not going anywhere, so no big deal.

I disagree with that part. Yes it could very well end up being a throw away season. COULD. But if we have that attitude and if Fox does that it becomes a certainty. Right now it's still early, and seeing how we could be looking at a lockout next season why not at least TRY to do something. Are we already quitting?

I don't expect much, but I don't want the coaches to act like they are quitting already and just treating this season as an experiment 3 games into it. If we're out of contention by the end of November yeah....but playing Jimmy then going back to Moore....then back to Jimmy or Pike....what good is that? For anyone? It's no good for us, it's no good for the team, and it sure as heck will destroy the reputation of all those QB's.

This switch if it takes place pretty much kills Matt's career, why destroy Jimmy's too before it even has a chance to take off?
