Dwayne Jarrett is inactive

Clearly, he just doesn't suck and they refuse to keep him for 4 years never legitimately playing him. There mixed signals coming out of Carolina. He may suck.....he probably sucks but there is something odd going on here. Bottom line is bashing Jarrett here is dumb....the organization is the one wasting a roster spot when we have plenty of spot we could use more players that could possible get on the field if they deserve it.

There's no mixed signals. The guy has had one good game in his career. There's no conspiracy. There's no "John Fox would rather hold up his grudge than put this Pro Bowl player on the field." There's no "this guy's gonna be great when John Fox is gone/when he goes to another team."

Guy's good enough to stay on teams because of his promise. He's bad enough to stay off the field because he never uses it. I don't give a damn if he catches everything. He doesn't get the ball because he doesn't get open.

So, guy who loves Dwayne Jarrett more than the Carolina Panthers, answer this and only this: what's he ever done in a pro game to suggest he's good?

Just wow.. you said during the off season you wanted to see ANYBODY setup and do something at the WR spot. You flip flop more than Brett Favre on the Samsung commercial.

LOL.

I will be glad for anyone to step up. Doesn't mean Armanti should be given an active spot over Jarrett. I like Armanti but it will be a good year before he is ready to step on the field. So according to your logic, Fox could sign your grandma and start her over Jarrett.......and I should support that b/c I said I would welcome anyone stepping up?

Well I figured you'd be smart enough to understand that anybody is reference to someone on the Panthers roster.. I gave you too much credit.. I'm sorry.

    • How about 2 legit good games in a row? I still think his post season benching is romanticized and overstated…. I mean his turnaround was amazing.  But that had more to do with how bad he was than how good he actually became.
    • BY needs to be more consistent and continue to make big plays in big moments. Like take over a couple of series a game, particularly at the end. If he can't become that, then they should be looking for his replacement.  You can not blame a QB for losses with the worst oline/receiver/coaching combination this team has ever had - in his rookie season at that. And then a below average receiving group to go with the worst defense in NFL history his second season. I don't understand. QBs aren't one man teams. It takes a team to win games. 11 on offense, 11 on defense, 11 on special teams, an OC, a DC and a HC. Let's have more than one play of 25+ yards of YAC in a season before condemning the QB for not breaking 300 yards passing a game. Perfectly acceptable to have high expectations but let's not be completely unrealistic.
    • He’s not a safety in reality. Doesn’t do anything besides ST, but is very good at that. With how awful we’ve been there past few years just find room for him somewhere and do it
