Worst season opener yet. :|

Did you see the season opener for East Bound and Down yet??? It was freaking aweful!!!

The whole episode felt phoned in and half assed. I really hope the season picks up as it goes along.

Still, not bad television. Just bad by Dexter standards.

The previews looked great for the next episode. I think Dexter comes unglued....

There were to many loose ends that had to be tied up from last season... That is why I think it wasn't as good as it normally is. Ritas death/funeral, having to tell the kids, etc... (Loved Dexter with Mickey Mouse ears telling the kids she had died)

I think this weeks episode will be better!

I don't think it was a bad season opener at all. If you got hyped by the teasers and talk all over the web, I could see how you'd be disappointed. Dexter is a slow-paced, cerebral show. It's not going to drop bombshells on the viewer a la Lost.

That being said, why the in your face butt shot of that Jay Cutler lookalike, Quinn? That ruined the show for me, not the writing.

Season 1: Doll head on the fridge

Season 2: They find Dex's stash

Season 3: Accidentally kills the wrong person

Season 4: Introduction of Trinity/car wreck

Season 5: Dexter muddling around trying to figure out how to respond

Yeah, its a slow paced show, but this one just didn't hold up to previous openers at all. I expected better overall writing as well. It just felt half assed.

Killing off Rita was a mistake. They went for shock value instead of story by doing that.

IMO it worked out great, the whole serial killer with a family would have been trite.

I don't much care for suspicious Quinn trying to track down kyle butler, feels to much like season 2 with Doakes, I think that will be a dead end story wise.

This season feels more like Dexter getting lost in his darkness a bit more. l agree the bathroom scene was the highlight of the episode.

      I’ve heard that Vegas looks at only 3 things when predicting games and setting the line 1. HC     2  Qb       3. Injuries  If that flash card is true, then it is the Bills to win   Add to it, , the Bills have lost 2 in a row and coming off a bye   They cannot afford to allow the Patriots to hang around by getting a 3rd loss.   That does not bode well for Carolina  to me though  1. it is all on the Panthers oline.  If Lewis returns at full strength, and perform at a high level, huge. 2 the defense needs to pressure and spy on Allen. Stop Allen and you stop the Bills   He is their biggest threat  he will make plays but make him pay for every single one  3. Canales, lord have mercy, for the love of god, don’t overthink this…start Rico, run Rico and no trick plays…      START RICO.  RUN THE BALL WITH RICO.       To be fair we don't know how Mccaffrey would have looked had he been drafted by the Saints with Sean Peyton and Drew Brees Nor how Kamara would have looked with Mike Shula.

      Not sure why everyone is down on the guy, he's 5x better than Plumber and in equal situations can throw a better ball than Bryce or Dalton
