Peppers, Wish him well.

We should leave peppers alone, he's been here for 7 years and is a free agent. It is his choice whether he wants to stay or not, it's not like it was the middle of the season with years left on his contract when he said he wanted out. I have always liked pep and I wish he would stay but I'm not going to hate him for life for wanting to leave. I wish him well!

He quit during the 2007 season, and only played hard this season because it was a contract year, I have no respect for quiters.

it is a business as the poster said above. the players should be treated as such. they whine like hell about the fans and criticism, but they get paid millions. perform or get the hell out cause there is someone else who can. so long peppers, don't let the door hit you on your overrated ass.

As a big Peppers fan, I was upset at first. But no one knows the whole story yet, however, if Peppers or any other player holds out due to money, then I will be appalled. With the economy like it is, these teams need to lower their costs of operation. All of us out here working our tails off making do with what we still have and hope to maintain employment, while athletes are holding out for a few more million dollars. That is absurd and insulting to us fans. Without fans coming to these games, watching the games on TV, they wouldn't be able to make this money. I think all teams in all sports should have the same cap on how much a player can be paid, in an effort to keep these players more loyal to one team, or at least keep them from shopping for which one is going to pay the most every season or so. No player is worth 13 million a year, especially in these poor economic times.

    • I mean he's not wrong lol. Yes fans who are honest with themselves know this, the casual "facebook fans" who slob rod and celebrate getting crushed in the finals will still see this year as a sucess when we make the ECF and get bounced in 5 or less.  I mean for a while I understood the whole don't burn assents, but this year there was zero excuse not too, we have a glut of talent on the wings to the point that an NHL top 6 ready guy like Nadeu is down in the AHL scoring at will. 3 firsts in two years, numerous other talented prospects in the prospect pool, more cap space than any other team in playoff position (WAY MORE THAN ANY REAL CONTENDERS) and on top of all of that we had the top record in the East (its likely we get home ice at least until the finals) yet we still have a fatal flaw in a 160 lb 5'8 "2C" and no goalie depth......   The Aves got Kadri to he there freaking 3C.... for me it didnt even have to be Trochek or Kadri, a big physical center who gets to the front of the net and scores like SCHENN would have had me extatic.
    • I didnt mean literally lol.
    • It's so disappointing that Caleb's injury took the shine off this game
