Cars driving themselves

Recommended Posts

I heard about this when I was watching my gf Robin Meade this morning. She said they have test driven some ridiculous amount of miles with someone sitting in the driver's seat just in case and there was only 1 accident. The car got rear ended by someone driving their own car hahaha so it wasn't even the robo-car's fault.

Sounds pretty fn cool to me.

I still haven't heard a reasonable excuse for making cars that can double the speed limit, since these days we are so in to big brother and safety.

Not that I want some pissant golfcart to drive, just sayin'.

Also, how easy would it be to have, given currently available technology, a system that monitors your car and its speed pretty much everywhere?

Think red light cameras on steroids.

Just thinkin' out loud.

OLD PEOPLE.

biggest problem for me in Charlotte.

Screw you all! I resemble that remark! :D

Seriously, I do slightly over the speed limit, but it never ceases to amaze me when people tailgate me. I guess I need to have a bumper sticker that reads Caution! Hand Controls! (The handicapped license plate doesn't really give it away?)

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
