That's awesome of these guys to contact fans, but it's scary how not-busy these presidents and CEO/Owners are to be able to call people back so quickly.

I report directly to the COO of my company and can barely get a meeting with him because he's so busy, and I f**king work there.

These guys are just sitting around waiting to reply to fans? That is cool that both of you got to talk to them though fwiw.

I get that, but I also think that the owner feels (and he does) that he has a responsibility to fans. I do believe JR cares about this team, the players, and the fans. I think that he just has a different plan for this year than we did. I think he wants to communicate to fans to try to smooth feathers because he knows how pissed people are.

I also think he wants to avoid the media because he thinks this is a way to be more authentic. Either that, or he hates them. Which is also possible.

Either way, I don't particularly mind it. This may have been a recent push among the team brass was to try to improve management's image by being more responsive to fan complaints. It is very possible and likely that not everyone is getting contacted responses based on this stuff.

Mebbe I'm wrong though.

    • frank, that ball was very catchable where it hit his hands. I don't even think he bent at waist until after he dropped it. He actually slows his pace to position himself to catch the ball. That will never be a pass I'd blame on the QB.   NFL+ _ Live Games on mobile, NFL RedZone, NFL Network and More! - Google Chrome 2026-01-15 13-54-54.mp4
    • https://overthecap.com/position/left-guard   Lewis is the 9th highest paid Left Guard in the league. I bet it was higher when the deal was done two years ago.    https://overthecap.com/position/right-guard Hunt #3 highest Right Guard   There is a tab in the upper left portion of the graphic that allows looking at the different positions.
    • It was a great play, but a better catch than throw. The TE boxes out Moehrig for position. Jumps to catch the ball. Catches it and turns 180 degrees while he's still in the air. Comes down and toe taps to stay in bounds and lunges for the goal post. That first part where he boxes out Moehrig for the ball is huge. If he doesn't do that and simply fades back to catch the ball (this is why Bryce doesn't trust XL), then Moehrig likely undercuts the pass for a break up or INT. Stafford trusts his receivers to make plays for him. Here I slowed it down so you can see it. Great play but amazing catch and score by the TE.  NFL+ _ Live Games on mobile, NFL RedZone, NFL Network and More! - Google Chrome 2026-01-15 13-45-32.mp4 NFL+ _ Live Games on mobile, NFL RedZone, NFL Network and More! - Google Chrome 2026-01-15 13-44-37.mp4
