Creepy Gynecologists

It doesn't really matter to me. I've had both male and female gynos, and they were both equally uncomfortable. The exam process is a painful and degrading experience--certainly the last thing I would be thinking about is sex. And as far as the doctors, I would be worried if I were married to one, because he just sees lady parts in a clinical way all day. How could he be excited by attention to those areas at home?

Every girl I have talked to about going to the OBGYN say similar things. I personally have never found it painful, not even once (that i remember at least). The first time I went it I felt a bit uncomfortable having a stranger messing around with me but ever since I'm pretty comfortable except for the women doctors I had. It wasn't that I was uncomfortable they were just kind of mean or short with me. They had bad bedside manners.

LOL, it's a ying yang world. For every hot, shaved 19 year old College freshmen you get a nasty 73 year old with a yeast infection I imagine.

I guess if you pulled in 250k every year it might be worth it but do you think Dr. OBGYN goes home and goes down on the little woman? :smilielol5:

I have a friend who is a PA and does gyno stuff and the above is almost word for word what he said... except the ratio is about 20:1 bad to good.

What's the difference than a guy looking at porn. Makes him want to go "hit it"!

You can't compare porn stars with real women.

Women in porn aren't really real women, they are fabricated women made up only for a mans viewing pleasures.

Most porn stars have pretty cooters, cept for the ones who have dangly labia.

Most real women have ugly cooters.

Gotta wonder if a Gyno comes home from a long hard days work, and his wife gets frisky and wants sex, if he ever just turns to her and says, "If I have to look at one more today...."

On another note, I now have a female physician, and I gotta say I don't mind the prostate exam as much as I use to. And when I get tested for STDs and the results come back negative, I just look her in the eye and wink. ;)

I remember I had this really weird mole-growth on my member in high school. It was very small at first but it grew larger to the point that it was bothersome. I decided to get it looked at.

Went to the family doc and he said it wasn't anything serious but no way he was going near it because of such a sensitive area with all the nerves and blood vessels.

So I went to a urologist with a specialty in that area. He looked at it thought it was weird but no way he would go near it for the same reasons.

So in the end the guy that did the surgery was pretty much a specialist in lopping off dick bumps. I kept thinking to myself how you end up in that profession.

I'm sure this post can be absolutely ransacked for quotes so do it if you must.

Yeah, that statement isn't fair.

And for the record, most OB's don't come close to clearing 250.

In their dreams. Not these days.

The same logic would apply to my wife, a female Urologist.

Doctoring is doctoring, and eventually the parts all just become parts that you have to deal with/fix.

I think it might be your issue, rather than the docs.

Just my opinion.

And thankfully we live in a country where finding a female OB Gyn should be a piece of cake.
