Only one not so awesome thing about Turkey Day.

Turkey.

If it was Lasagna or Filet Mignon or even Meatloaf or Pizza it would be perfect.

Even deep fried turkey is just ok.

We did duck one year and it was better.

The rest, the family, football, drinking, no annual forced gift giving is great.

The side dishes are all great, just think turkey is over-rated.

Only the dark meat has any flava.

Not true, back then Thanksgiving happened more than once a year. Plus most of the traditions of Thanksgiving didnt happen back then. No Turkey, no plymouth rock and it was celebrated first in Virginia.
