Protecting Players

So honestly, with the new rules in place for the WR, which do you agree with?

Situation 1-

Player A joins group tackle and hits Player B in the head with parial helmet and shoulder pad. Player B doesn't get up and is now out and hurt with a head injury. No flag no call.

Situation 2-

Player A tackles Player B going over the middle making a catch. Hits with arms and push, Player B drops said pass and falls down but gets up right away. Player A is flagged and is a 15 yard penalty due to roughness and protecting Player B.

Which one sounds like football and the correct call? Rep if you know the plays also...(which most people should)

Neither is correct.

If anything the first is unnecessary roughness and the second is a bad call.

Also I assume the first is the hit that injured Stewart and the second is the clean hit we got flagged for that everyone in the stadium booed the zebras over.

Situation 3 - Darren Sharper smashes into Jonathan Stewart's helmet, leaving him concussed, and then gloats over his sprawled body, screaming obscenities at him and the Panthers sideline. Steve Smith, Jon Beason, and Sir Purr beat the living poo out of him with the first down marker.

situation three!

Ding ding first situation was Stew and Sharper. But really is the NFL going to look at it? Probably not. He isn't known to the point that James Harrison is with hits...plus he plays for the saints.

But Situation 2 happened yesterday to, anyone know when?

I think it's pretty obvious situation 2 was the Beason hit later in the game...

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
