I am of the opinion that with the right DC, Peppers will flourish. I think we will tag him and if he cannot be traded for the VALUE that we want for him, he then will get the opportunity to play for us with a New DC.

I hope this wasn't to attract Peppers back to Carolina. It's also likely that JR got involved in this at some point and made fox make some decisions hence the one year contracts to everyone. Fox didn't want to fire anyone so he just told them to find somewhere else to go and we offered fake contract offers that were never going to be accepted. We know that JR wants this franchise to look like the Steelers, A touch defense and a run first approach on offense.
