What do the different color icons in rep mean?

...and I mean specifically. Not, "Green is positive and Red is negative." Yeah, I got that. What about blue? And the number of points seems to vary. Anyone know the conditions set in the prefs? Just curious.

pretty sure blue means they haven't got enough posts/power to really make a difference

When I hit the rep button on someone's post, I get two options...agree or disagree. Those logically map to green and red, or positive and negative. At first I thought maybe blue was a repeat rep on the same comment, but that doesn't seem to be the case as I've seen multiple greens and blues on the same post. I have also seen multiple greens and a red thrown in by a Taints fan. I don't think I've seen green, red and blue on a single post, yet.

In addition, I've seen rep change by different amounts. I thought blue might be a smaller increment, though my options are only +/-.

ya, not 100% sure what the blue means anymore and I can't find anyone that is currently blue!!!

the increments though is based on how many rep points you have and how much of a difference it adds to the person you are repping. So, when a big ole rep ***** like Salty who has many rep points sends rep to a newbie, their number is going to change dramatically more than when he would send rep to me, which he rarely does...cuz he's an ass!
