The Panthers never lost to the Rams with Peppers on the team. They are 0-3 with Smitty and without Peppers.

We won in the '03 playoffs against STL with Smitty and without Peppers.

Peppers, like EVERY SINGLE other playoff game, didn't show up for that one...

Smitty, on the other hand...

I can see this thread is going to end up pissing me off.

The problem right now is the offense can't get the ball down the field consistently (hell we change QB's every other day). It would be different if the offense was scoring and the problem was with the defense.

It's obvious that these two things have no direct correlation; the only thing they have in common is that the team "got younger" and lost veteran players (some who were good, some who weren't, some who were the FO's fault, and some who weren't).
