Ravens coach: "It was a Baltimore stadium."

The majority of Ravens fans were in the uppers and had huge blocks of tickets together. They were obviously purchased in huge blocks and not a bunch of single seat sellers. So get off the little guy with his 2 seats trying to break even and start going after the corporate PSL owners who sold off these gigantic seat blocks.

Those were the suckers who bought tickets from the tour bus companies and wound up in the upper deck corners. There were a lot of lower 100 level tickets that had purple jerseys in them. They probably paid too much online for them.

My guess is better than 50% of the actual fans sitting between the 10's below club were Baltimore fans. That would be roughly 1/3 of the seats as 1/3 were empty. My PSLs are upper level endzone row 1 so I had a good view of it.

We had a few tickets to unload that were given to us by fellow tailgaters who made up there mind a few weeks back not to go. $100+ club seats going for $30, those $50 uppers going for $10, etc. The streets around the stadium were full of brokers and those looking for tickets were naming their price.

Sorry, if I need to recoup some of my ticket investment (which at this point seems like a Studebaker deal), I'll advertise in Atlanta and on the Falcon's website to try to sell them. Does anyone really think the idiot who owns the seats in front of me cares who he's selling the tickets to? But I am?

I will tell you coming from a Panthers Fan who lives in Baltimore (I made the trip down as well), it was an odd feeling yesterday because as I would walk around the stadium, I saw more and more people that I either worked with, lived around me, etc. They all bought tickets from places like Stubhub, Ticketexchange, etc. where the tickets were very cheap, and as some already said, they came down in bus loads.

On a funny note, on the way back home last night, I saw a handful of those bus full of Ravens fans broke down on the side of the road... kinda funny especially after the way the game went...

As for their fans coming down and our fans selling their tickets, Raven fans are just the same. When the team is doing well, they travel in packs... the local radio stations travel with the team and usually make a some sort of event in that specific city just as WNST did at Whiskey River. But when the Ravens aren't doing well, you will see more of the opposing fans in the stands than the Purple/Black... come check out a Steelers/Ravens game... you will see just what we all saw yesterday... the Yellow/Black out weigh the Purple/Black...

Just looked on stubhub. Cheap seats are running $19.95-$30 or so. You can still do better on the street than that but I can understand wanting to have a ticket in hand. That said Atlanta tickets are some of the least expensive in the league. I bought one a few years ago in the Vick era that had a $15.00 face value on it. The cheapest Panther ticket is around $45.00

Not even close. Steelers are lucky to get 3,000 in our stadium these days, but you are right about something. When our franchise was new they did roll on us pretty hard. We resented it and now protect our house. And yes, having a good team helps.

The Yankees and Red Sox do to the Orioles what we did to you yesterday. Hopefully though Ravens fans were more respectful to you than those 2 franchises are when the overrun Camden Yards in that fake sport without a salary cap.

I love Charlotte, NC and visit Amos Southend sometimes for concerts. This was my first experience as a Ravens fan there. Yes we had the stadium owned, but part of that is JR's fault (a former Baltimore Colt) for not giving you all a better product..

Stick with your team, protect your house. I had the utmost respect for every Panther fan who showed up and represented to support the home team. Thanks to all of you for being good hosts. Beautiful city, don't understand why the stadium lights buzz and hang over the upper deck though.

Take care all, and good luck going forward. Things will get better. Having an NFL team is special. Never lose sight of that.

False.

• Atlanta Falcons, Georgia Dome (71,228): Increase: Yes. Price range: $55-$125 Note: Raised prices on 26,000 seats while lowering tag on 6,800 seats.

• Carolina Panthers, Bank of America Stadium (73,504): Increase: Yes. Price range: $32-$97 Note: About 95% of seats increased, from $1 to $9, depending on location.

Yeah, honey ... it's not about the money for me, but it is for some people. At this point during the season, you can't pay some of these "loyal fans" to go to games.

If you wanna pay me to go to a game as well as my transportation cost go right ahead I'll be there in a hot second

It was embarrassing and annoying yesterday. I got sick and tired of hearing "Move those chains, move those chains, move those chains, Hoooahh!" and "Let's go Ravens!" over and over again. There were a few of us up in the upper deck chanting "Go home Ravens!" after the third quarter every time a purple jersey came walking by. At least most of the Ravens fans we met when chanting were respectful toward us and our city. It was still embarrassing though.

The problem is the Ravens have been in existence for one year LESS than the Panthers and it would be a miracle if we only had 3000 Steelers fans at our games when we play them.

I'm so sick and tired of being overrun with another teams fans and feeling out of place in OUR stadium. I mean this Sunday was ridiculous. I'm sorry for those of you who don't want to go and just want to sell your tickets to whoever wants to buy but I personally would never sell my tickets to someone unless I was sure they were a Panthers fan. Otherwise that seat would stay empty and at least it would still be Panther blue. If I was a fan of a different team besides the Panthers that might not be the case but as a Panther fan you know how many yankee transplants live here and are going to buy your tickets up to cheer for THEIR team.

Maybe it just means more to me but I love this team good or bad and its a respect thing.

    • True, but on the flip side we didn’t know if TMac would be there at 8. You gotta roll with guesses at some point and then adapt as things change. Let’s see what Morgan does
    • I don't think he did it to spite Bryce. Seems like Bryce is a truly decent guy that virtually everyone likes. I do think Frank likely preferred Stroud and was either was led to believe or deluded himself into thinking that he would have a lot more say in the direction we went at QB in the draft. Once we decided on Bryce knowing Bryce didn't fit his system and preferences in a QB it really seemed like the wind went out of Frank's sails and he basically started mailing it in and just waited to get fired and paid out. Maybe I'm misreading the whole situation but that's certainly the way it looked to me from the outside looking in.
    • Again, it may have nothing to do with Bryce Young. The coaches are thinking about the whole roster. Many guys have said how much different this off-season has been not having to start from square 1 with a playbook, language, etc. You’re talking about bringing in a guy to lead the 2nd team offense who they now have to spend time teaching. Every team is different. This team is young and developing across the board and trying to find some positive continuity. With how Morgan and Canales have approached everything I’m fairly certain they considered all possibilities and decided it was best for the overall team to roll with Dalton for now. They value whatever it is they feel Dalton brings over the extremely low probability of whatever washed out, journey man, reclamation project developing into a franchise QB. You and I have no idea why and aren’t there in the meetings, but it’s clear that the FO sees this young failed franchise QB project as less likely to pan out than you do.
