Marshall hasn't played well this year, but the 56 yd TD in the Ravens game was on Gamble's side of the field.

Panthers were in a zone defense and Gamble released TJ to Godfrey to cover underneath... Godfrey should have no problem covering a slow receiver like TJ, but he let TJ run right by him and then tried to catch up... Flacco made a perfect throw and it was too late.

Gamble may be slightly overrated. He isn't Godfrey level bad.

Coverage is always bad on Godfrey's side of the ball. Godfrey was a big reason Lucas looked like trash....a corner can't hand coverage off to him.

Godfrey isn't making 54 million either, Gamble is...new coach comes in here they will either both be gone or expectations will be raised.

It won't matter who we put in the secondary if we don't do something to get more pressure on the QB.

it was not gamble nor marshall fault unless they were manned up.on that play to housh we were in a cover 2 which the cb responsiblity is the flat while the safety is suppose to cover half of the field.godfrey is always out of position, and has terrible feet, and takes bad angles.once again he is not a safety.

Exactly, and Godfrey should have no problem covering TJ unless he lets him blow right by him...
