There is no way Jake could have made this team better,it was simply time for him to move on and let the youth movement begin,in my opinion.

I think both Matt and Jimmy would have been better if we had kept Jake. Would we have won more games? Probably. Would we be in the hunt right now? Probably not. The 1 thing that makes letting Jake go a dumb move? We are paying him $12mil this season...

Of course we would have been better. A 12 year vet would be a serious upgrade to a squad that had 8 career starts coming into the season. As for picks, lets get real. Moore has 10 picks and Clausen 5 through 11 games.

Through 11 games last year, Jake had 18 picks but 8 TDs as well. Moore and Clausen have 6 combined.

With our schedule this year we would have at least 4 or 5 wins at this point.
