So I went through customs in Miami coming back from the Dominican republic and the customs agent asked me if I reported my passport missing, I say no and he casually takes 5 minutes to type on his computer screen explains nothing and tells me to go on my way. Terrorist Muslim jokes aside what do u think it means? My wife fears that my identity might be in jeopardy. What say u?

They wanted to document that you had your passport in your possession for your entire time, so if any terrorist attack or threat originates from the Dominican Republic in the future, they have a "lead" or scapegoat, depending upon your persuasion.
