That actually would be the perfect "bunker" All you need is a few sniper rifles with a silencer to quietly take out any zombies that hang around. Drop down a rope ladder and have a machete or shotty with you when you need to go leave. Only problem is it would only be sustainable for maybe a year or two tops (and that's being generous)

you'd still have to keep them cleaned out somehow

Have a thought on that...be sure someone is a phlebotomist. Get a pint of blood from yourself ever 50 days and pour it on the pile below. Let the zombies do the pile cleanup for you.

Maybe we will get attacked by zombies that are cannibals? Then you don't need to worry about pouring blood on them and you can use that space to store food instead of blood.

Yeah...ice will be an afterthought huh. Wouldn't be able to keep anything long.

You need to outrun these guys, not outfight them.

Your Brad or Humvee gets disabled...you are just a childproof tin of sardines.

Run out of gas, you have a really cool zombie attracting neon sign...come eat me!

Run out of ammo you have an expensive gatling gun and mount for a club.

I'll take a bike, maybe one with one of those rechargeable motors on it when you pedal.

I'll get away quietly while you mow 'em down until you get overwhelmed.

Thats cool, I will just make sure to run over you bike fuger with my Bradly. That way I can conserve gas and the zombies can go Green. :yesnod:

The way I see it is this.

Shotgun to Bradly.

Bradly to Tanker

Tanker as home base.

deploy smaller boats for supply's.

I would love to use a sail boat but I dont know how to sail the fuger so its of no use. I will have to take my fuel by IMN.

Also will make a poo load of silencers for small arms. Zombies cant hear whats not loud.

Bradleys are good for us too. We retain certain memories and some of us were welders. All we need is a cutting torch and you will be like Chicken of the Sea. The only sound we really like is the sound of high heels on pavement. That's like a dinner bell.

Now zombies have cutting torches ? Industrial torches that will cut through armor ?

The Bradley has laminate aluminum type of armor. Not like you are thinking. It is good against RPGs and such but is vulnerable to a slow methodical attack.

The use of Aluminum armor....

Yep, or just find a two story building and blow out the stairs (as is recommended in The Zombie Survival Guide). Then get yourself a basic folding ladder or something that you could put down only when needed.

I would go in this direction, but set up on the roof of a WalMart. Cut a hole in the roof, lower a ladder down for supplies, and barricade the front doors. Set up a tent city on the roof, and have holes around the store to drop into various departments.

^^Think about it...if they say it's going to snow or theres a remote chance of a hurricane or something Wal Mart is wiped out...imagine if they said there's a Zombie outbreak. Wal Mart is going to constantly be a place people go to.

And I'm 99% sure Zombies can't use torches...or think for that matter.
