How do I connect my Droid to my comp.

For some reason my computer keeps on telling me that it can't recognize the driver, and it won't search for one.

Do I have to somehow "open" my Droid for it to be able to sync up?

I am about to start throwing poo.

Plug it in and there should be an option to turn the usb storage on or something like that. Not at my phone so cant really give you the exact terminology atm....

Could be I would try a different cable, my Droid has always been plug and play on any machine I have ever synced it to...

get the mount usb app. when you connect the usb to the computer, should be a pop-up on your droid to connect to computer. To do this, select MOUNT. Make sure you unmount it first before taking it out instead of just removing the cable. Hope this helps.

You need to outfit your comp with Scomp Link Access... It is how droids communicate with other pieces of technology...

I had a hard time getting my Samsung Galaxy S to connect. I use Kies program to do it now. You can sync up everything on your phone with your computer including contacts and your calendar from outlook.

Yeah if you have a Droid and it's a samsung, it should work with Kies.
