You mean like that? ;)

But in all honesty, I don't really care if someone misspells a word on here as long as what they're saying isn't stupid.

There in being the issue everything micnificent says is stupid.

The guy is a uses nonfactual information and everything he says is based on what he thinks. I don't mind that you"re a newton supporter

Just don't be a dumbass and try to compare collegiate stats rather than NFL skill sets, and don't try to tell me newton makes NFL throws like luck dose because he dosnt.

I would be fine if we did this....

Step 1: Sign Mcnabb this offseason (need to do this anyway even with Luck). Most likely wont be retained and he did wonders for Vick up in Phili. I think he is the perfect mentor for Newton.

Step 2 *assuming luck declares: Trade number one pick for a crap ton of picks. (I'm talking like at least 2 1st 2 2nds and a 3rd or even 2 3rds) to say either the Bengals, Broncos, Bills, or Cards.

Step 3: Draft Newton with that 1st.

This to me would actually be far better overall for our Franchise. Newton really does have everything you look for physically in a QB and I think he needs a solid good influence on him in the locker room and I can think of few better then Mcnabb. If he stays out of trouble and gets a good QB coach he could be great (possible even better then Luck who can say).

Then we could upgrade our lines in the 2nd and 3rd (Someone like DT Fua out of Stanford or maybe even Pouncey if he falls in the 2nd and a RG/DT in the 3rd). Then we would have 2 1st and 2 2nds in 2012. We would look as good as the Pats do this offseason.

But there is no way in hell I am giving up Luck for anyless then that blockbuster deal. I think Luck has possible more upside then Peyton did. But Newton would be a nice consolation prize.

How old are you five? I've been on this board since before the old server crashed, so no you don't.

"Single post or ur that makes sence" with statements like these it's no wonder I'm guessing there isn't alot that makes sence to you seeing how ignorant you are.

Pretty much agree. I think Newton could be a really solid NFL QB. Hopefully he learned over the past year that stuff from the past can really come up and bite you in the as$.

In the chance we wind up with him next year, we no doubt need a QB to mentor the kid, maybe McNabb, but this would result in us most likely becoming a WC offense imo

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
