this is terrible, something has to change. just take the top 6 teams with the best records even if they haven't won the division.

this is something they'll definitely try to fix in the offseason in some way, even if they make it so that wildcards with better winning pctgs get a higher seeding than underachieving division winners that's still an improvement

the only problem is that this has to happen once for them to change it

John Fox would have jizzed in his pants if the Panthers had been realigned back into the West years ago. That 7-9/8-8 that he loves could have given us a few division titles!

And people would have been saying what a great coach he is... wait they already do.

And did anyone notice today when the announcers were stroking Fox during the game they put up a stat. that said he never had back to back losing seasons? You could flip it to never had back to back winning seasons.

      I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.

      Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
