I had always thought Wharton was their best OL before this year and he can play LT also if needed so I wasn't upset in the least at his contract. Hangman is an extremely valuable backup as well.

But yeah, watching the game on NFL replay was a huge treat. They were trucking guys. I think that's the best run blocking (including WRs, TEs etc) I have ever seen from the Fox era Panthers.

I have to wonder if the change in OL coach which I had wanted for about a year before it happened plays a role as well. They are more talented than any other line lately but they also look better coached with their execution to my amateur eyes.

I'm not sure if individually they are the ugliest in Panther's history. For example, I'm not 100% sure Kalil is better than Mitchell was. But as a group, there is no question.
