It is not even close. Ammo actually decided to play defense while going for the ball on a 7-4 tall guy. Bynum never went for the ball and instead lead with an elbow into an airborn player. He also didn't bother to extend his free arm out and catch Wallace either.

Honestly, I hope that this catches up to Bynum and players around the league inadvertently stick him in the nads on a nightly basis.

This injury will cost the Bobs at least 2-3 wins. We will see if that is the difference between the playoffs or sitting at home.

Not dirty at all. Bynum clearly was just trying to keep Wallace from making an easy basket. At no point did Bynum swing his elbow in a striking manner or do anything that remotely looked to intentionally cause injury. All he did was throw his body at GW with his arms raised, and the elbow just happened to hit him in the wrong spot.

Flagarent, yes. Malicious, no. Bynum was just trying to make a play, not trying to hurt Gerald. So being called for a foul is appropriate, suspension is not.

Anyways....Big hit to are team. Honestly, Wallace has been more of a security blanket lately for us, but we need him. He is a must for a starter on any team...ouch, close your eyes and hope for the best.

The difference between what happened to Ariza and what happened to Wallace is that one was intentional and the other was just basketball. You can come here and defend your boy all you want, but he was flat out in the wrong here and those fouls don't belong in basketball.
