Huh.. that sucks. I voted at least twenty times for Williams.

Oh well. Everyone jumped on the AP bandwagon after his first year (which yes, was impressive.) The guy still fumbled more, which had a drastic effect on the Vikings.

Whatever. Awards are meaningless besides the Lombardi.

Why are ANY of you shocked by this? The FANS voted. Outside of our fanbase, nobody knows much about him. Everyone knows about AP. They voted on popularity alone.

thats not really true d.williams has become very popular over the past season. most fans know who williams is now...he just didnt have a better season than AP maybe if he ran the whole season like he did late in the year

      It's crazy with how much winning was going on when we had a little cool off period that we're still just a couple games out of 6th. Moussa is getting better every week and Coby is getting comfortable. Would be nice to get to 6 but I think this team is a lot more stacked than the last couple play ins. I can't remember the exact rules but if you're 7th seed and win the first game I think you automatically move on and don't have to play the second game?

      I think it was a thing for sure. Panthers weren’t too many people’s first choice. Or 5th choice.  2022 and 2023… coaches fired mid season. Consecutive years. You want any of that?  He has definitely overseen a rehab of how the Panthers are perceived. Because we are a place that is seen as up and coming. And just the little thing of he accommodated Theilen so graciously, that gets noticed. It all adds up. Dan is doing a lot of things right, probably most things.  Needs a good draft.

      K, I think that is dumb, but you do you. I didn't find anything online that made him out to be a dislikable person. I am certain the Panthers would have cared so much if they lost your fandom if they hired Sean Payton. But bet you would have come crawling back if Sean lead us to a Super Bowl victory or Golden leads UNC to a champion ship. It is easy to say you are gonna leave a team if the hire someone you dislike when the chips are down. But people like you tend to come crawling back once the team finds success.
