Redundant but Necessary; If not Luck, than Newton

If Luck isn't there, trade down and take Locker. I mean, last year if Locker came out he would've been the no doubt number 1 pick, he had a down year but I think he's the second best QB in the draft. I'm not sold on Newton being able to put it together in the NFL.

But I am/was a huge Clausen supporter so what do I know?

Newton is going to be good, just will probably take more time for the transition. If he's there & Luck isn't pick him up.

Nah, dont put it on me. They didnt like Cam ever since he became glamorized and recognized as the best QB in college football. A black QB being considered the best of the best is gonna rub a segment of this board the wrong way, no matter how you slice it. Their brains cant compute that. Its like asking a toddler to balance a checkbook.

I cant take credit for this board's love affair and view that Andrew Luck is the "absolute" messiah for our franchise's future. Im not that grandiose. If people's feelings about our future QB are dependent on who I like or hype up, then we deserve whatever fate we get.
