Carolina Vacation Spots

Since you said Carolina spots I'd say:

Outer Banks-if you like relaxing, fishing

Ocean Isle, Sunset Beach- if you want to relax, yet have some nightlife within 30-45mins.

North Myrtle Beach- If you want more things to do besides the beach, golf

Charleston-More expensive to be by the ocean, but the amount of beaches and things to do downtown are incredible. golf

Hilton Head-More expensive, mostly relaxing some good bars, golf

Any one of these are good. It's what you're into. If these fail there is always the back up.

Myrtle Beach- I wouldn't pay money to stay on the strip, but if you get a deal at a nice place then do your thing. Be ready for fist pumping and rap music.

Bald Head Island...

No cars, nowhere to be, and nobody to impress...

Anywhere on the OBX is cool too...

went to Avon in the obx a couple times during college. awesome town, really small, very quiet, and the houses are huge, 5 stories and most have hot tubs!

Most NC beaches are quiet, except for maybe Carolina Beach and areas close to piers. We used to go to Long Beach (now all called Oak Island) and loved it. Creeks in the back to wade and net for shrimp/bait. We currently go to Emerald Isle primarily and really like it too.
