fug, I missed this game, I got the score updates but it wasn't the same. Good job Canes anyways though. Was a little worried that this was a trap game and we wouldn't handle it.

Yea, I missed this one too. Had to get updates on the phone. I love to see Brodeur getting worked over. Canes need to keep this little streak up.

We're only 4 points back of Montreal having played 2 fewer games. As long as we can hang in there until the All-Star break I think we can run into the playoffs.

A game that needed to be won and they got off to a great start. Hedberg did a nice job though once he came in to replace Brodeur. We've always had his number which a lot of other teams wish they could say. Carolina didn't play great once Hedberg came in, had he started the game it could have gone another direction. New Jersey has lost 10 straight though and its a game that had to be won no matter what if Carolina wants to be a playoff team.
