Does Smith still return kicks? I think he needs to come down here .....I don't want to pass on another panther that we could use like we passed and didn't go after peppers.

the first part of your post I agree we need to use smith as a punt returner but ur last part of it I don't agree with I'm glad peppers is gone if u look yea he was great player but he was also posioning to the d-line when he took plays off. we need to have a leader on our defense. thats where we are lacking all around so the next coach needs to have passion and also needs disclpine. and if there is a leader on the team he needs to step up is game and so that he can put the effort in and lead this team

Franchises in the NFL can turn it around quickly... and going to a "winner" does not always mean that team is going to stay that way because as we also have seen those can go south fast in a hurry.

If Harbaugh did come here, would Smitty respect his authority? I mean they technically played together. That's like a guy you went to High School or College with becoming your boss. That's no small feat if he stays calm and cool.

If he likes offensive minded coaching...he should come to Houston...opposite Andre and with the 5 tightends we have I think we can finally win the division and sweep Indy. Our ground game is already good with the leagues leading rusher but with Ben Tate coming back next year it will be even better. Our problem as everyone knows is our young corners.

The Texans don't deserve two star receivers. But honestly we keep Steve Smith, he still has the potential to break receiving records. Are we really going to let two seasons of the worst QB play in the league say Smith lost his edge? Come on man!

might want to work on getting a defense and I guess you're coach will be allowed another year? you do raise a good point..

but as to whether Smitty will bump heads with Harbaugh, I highly doubt it..

If we draft Luck, get a coach that isn't Fox, I bet Smith will be a lot more optimistic.
