I have not been this excited since superbowl XXXVIII

Am I alone in feeling like this is one of the most important off-seasons in franchise history. There is a crop of great coaches available, #1 overall pick with a terrific QB prospect possibly declaring, Also a great year for free agency with big name players set to become available.

Part of me wants Harbaugh as coach so we have a better shot at Luck, but at the same time I have faith in the organization to make smart moves and make up for this miserable season.

Please don't screw this up Panthers or else I will be in for a catastrophic meltdown.

I'm off the charts excited/worried/anxious. This is the most important offseason in franchise history. Harbaugh? Luck? CBA?

We need all these things to happen:

1. Harbaugh leaves Stanford (if he doesn't I think Luck stays. If he does Luck declares).

2. Luck declares.

3. CBA done.

4. We lock Luck up with contract before freakin' draft day ala what Miami did with Long.

Somewhere in there we announce new HC. I think whoever it is Hurney/JR will choose wisely ( I hope).

So much needs to happen and so much may or may not. Yikes!!

Truly a nerve racking offseason...

    • Thank you so much for posting links to the players so I don’t have to copy and paste the name and look it up.
    • All signs point to legit. We’ve been way better than our record the last few years it’s just we’ve had brutal injury luck. Also I’ve watched nearly every game this year and 3 things have stood out to me even when healthy from early in the year to now: 1. Early on Lee had some brutal rotations and situational coaching but he’s improved a ton there. We lost some close ones early we should’ve won. Sure most our recent games have been blowouts but in close games we’ve improved a ton there. 2. Defense. Overall team defense has improved so much, it’s not just hot shooting winning games. This D is absolutely a real trend and sustainable. LaMelo in particular has gone from flat out bad defensively to above average. We have so much length we always should’ve been good defensively but it took time for guys to buy in and really hone in on it which they have.   3. Pretty much all our young guys have taken strides forward. Moose’s development as a passer has been insane, Miller is putting it all together to be an elite 3 tier scorer able to hit 3s, mid range and finish at the rim. LaMelo still some poor shot selection but has cut the turnovers considerably. Kon has been a great shooter all year but has steadily improved in other aspects of the game too.      It has definitely been surprising how quickly it all came together out of nowhere but really none of it surprises me. We’ve been building towards this for years now.
